Monarchism in Children's Cartoons

I used to watch Dogtanian in the 80's in England. The saying,
"One For All and All For One" stuck with me all these years
because of this cartoon series.
--- Quote ---
> Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds (Spanish: D'Artacán y los
Tres Mosqueperros; Japanese:
ワンワン三銃士 [Wan
Wan Sanjuushi, lit., Woof Woof Three Musketeers]) is a
Spanish-Japanese children's animated television series that
adapts the classic 1844 Alexandre Dumas story of d'Artagnan and
The Three Musketeers, produced by Spanish studio BRB
Internacional with animation by Japanese studio Nippon
Animation, that was first broadcast on MBS in Japan in
1981–82.[1]
>
> Most of the characters in the series are anthropomorphizations
of dogs, hence the title of the cartoon; although there are a
few exceptions, most notably Dogtanian's two sidekicks Pip the
mouse and Planchet the bear, among several others.[2][3]
>
> In 1985, BRB Internacional released a television film edited
from the series entitled Dogtanian: Special. In 1989, they
produced with Televisión Española and Thames Television a sequel
series entitled The Return of Dogtanian. In 1995, they released
a television film edited from the sequel series entitled
Dogtanian: One For All and All For One. In 2021, Apolo Films
(BRB International's cinema studio) and Cosmos Maya released a
feature-length CGI film entitled Dogtanian and the Three
Muskehounds in cinemas.
--- End Quote ---
--- Quote ---
> The story, set in 17th-century France, follows a young
Dogtanian (Darutaniyan
(ダルタニヤン) in the
original Japanese version and voiced by Satomi Majima
(間嶋 里美) and D'Artacán in the Spanish
version) who travels from Béarn to Paris in order to become one
of King Louis XIII of France's musketeers. (They are referred to
as musketeers throughout the cartoon and only the title calls
them 'muskehounds'.) He quickly befriends three musketeers
(Porthos, Athos and Aramis) saving Juliette, a maid-in-waiting
for Queen Anne of Austria. A key difference between the
Dogtanian adaptions and Dumas' novel is that the character
traits of Athos and Porthos were interchanged, making Athos the
extrovert and Porthos the secretive noble of the group.

ever Mario game had Princess Peach be playable, and she was the
best character with her hover ability. Lol.

This is correct:

--- Quote ---
> Government

> The Mushroom Kingdom is ruled by Princess Peach. The kingdom's
capital is Toad Town. Here, Princess Peach resides in her
castle. Early material also includes her father, the kindly
Mushroom King, who is mentioned to rule alongside her. However,
he largely does not appear later in the series.
>
> Princess Peach keeps a horde of Toad guards at her castle.
However, Mario, Luigi, and many other heroes of the Mushroom
Kingdom have fought to save it and its princess countless times
before. Currently, Princess Peach staffs and supports Toad
Houses in major towns near Toad Town.

Also note the multiethnic society:

hundreds of species. Most prevalent are Toads, Koopa Troopas,
Goombas, Yoshis, and Boos.

as well as absence of transphobia/homophobia:
HTML https://www.mariowiki.com/Birdo#Gender
--- Quote ---
> In Japanese, Birdo is said to be a male who believes she is a
female and prefers to be called by a nickname, "Cathie", rather
than her real name "Catherine".[14] In Super Smash Bros. Brawl,
Birdo's trophy description describes the character as "gender
indeterminate", and uses the pronoun "it" rather than
gender-specific pronouns such as "he" or "she" (in contrast to
Super Smash Bros. Melee's English trophy description for her
using female pronouns), which has sometimes been used in other
occurrences.[15]
> ...
> The confusion surrounding Birdo's gender has also been
addressed in a light-hearted matter, such as when Popple pauses
before settling on calling Birdo a "dame" in Mario & Luigi:
Superstar Saga. The description of Birdo on the Japanese Mario
Kart: Double Dash!! website jokes about the matter ("Birdo
appears to be Yoshi's girlfriend, but is actually his
boyfriend!?"),[18] as do the Spanish website and manual for
Super Mario Strikers ("Birdo is your man... well, or woman.").
In Paper Mario: Sticker Star, the first lyrics of Birdo's
serenade allude to the gender confusion by saying, "Heart of a
woman, heart of a man... Both can know of love's grace..."

in line with our view that autocracy is required to properly
combat bigotry.
(Of course, you can count on Western media to deceptively
portray the Mushroom Kingdom as democratic:

> In the election depicted in "Princess Toadstool for
President", the fifth episode of The Adventures of Super Mario
Bros. 3, 6,436,213 voters participated.

town in the Russian Empire, now part of Belarus, the son of
Abraham Sarnoff and Leah Privin. Abraham emigrated to the United
States and raised funds to bring the family. Sarnoff spent much
of his early childhood in a cheder (or yeshiva) studying and
memorizing the Torah.

Even though the Super Mario Bros Super Show was created by Jews,
I still liked it better than the new 3D animation.

Now that I seen the new Mario movie I'd be glad to finally
comment on your post.
I remember seeing the Mario Bros Super Show on DVD. I was a
carefree child. I only watched it because that's what I got
(Mario's Movie Madness DVD) when I actually wanted the 1993
Mario Movie. When I actually noticed the heavily random SFX and
sterotypical Italian-New Yorker references, I realized the
Pokemon TV adaptation was more creative and sincere in terms of
directing.

Throwback to the time when a Japanese documentary maker Yugo
Sako fell in love with the story of ramayana, read over 10
versions of it and with help from Ram mohan (father of Indian
animation) and koichi Sasaki went on to create one of its most
beautiful depiction ever.

If you read further down the Twitter thread from two posts
earlier, the tweeter notes how even foreigners such as Sako have
paid more homage and stayed true to the source material than
their native Indian counterparts, the latter making movies that
more closely resemble a parody/mockery than an actual film.
