"Great Resignation" labor movement and strikes
By: rp Date: July 18, 2024, 1:27 am
---------------------------------------------------------
After working for the first time in my life for the past 5
months, I am finally beginning to understand how the corporate
world cultivates slave morality:

Now I'm wondering if I will be able to even complete the
Aryanist mission within my lifetime.
Edit: should probably move to questions and debates

Work should have some purpose. If you are just making
(((billionaires))) (clients of IT industry) and corrupt
bureaucrats (beneficiaries of Indian tax revenue) richer, then
there is no point.

Not all jobs and not all corporates. I think it's a matter of
selecting a field where money isn't the only motivation, then a
company with good work practices (which rules out most
Indian-owned companies lol), and finally a role that matches
personal ability and interests.
At least in STEM technical roles which I'm familiar with, I find
many situations where "jobs were all about putting in your
brains to work and getting paid for that" and "practicing some
art, instrument, studying about philosophy, or anything that
could stimulate his cognition" are actually true. Of course,
even in STEM, there are boring routine uncertain jobs like
project and people mgmt - they don't seem as satisfied as
technical roles.

Agree, but STEM jobs don't necessarily have to lead to
innovation/machinism, so long as new technology is not being
invented.

40% of Gen Z workers say they are ready to quit their jobs:
Report | NewsNation Prime
Elizabeth Beggs, a 28-year-old Gen Z manager from
Virginia, joins NewsNation to discuss how she’s redefining
leadership for the next generation of American workers. This
comes as a new trend emerges — 40% of Gen Z workers ages 18-24
say they are ready to quit their jobs and rely solely on
unemployment benefits. What’s driving this shift, and how can
workplaces adapt?
