It was so natural, so familiar when they sat like this. His
warmth was so calming, she felt herself relax slightly. She had
felt the hesitation in him, knowing there was something that he
had wanted to say. She turned curious eyes up to him, but she
wouldn't push.

She knew this question would come at some point. She took a
deep breath as she tried to sort out the words in her mind.
"He's been sweet and caring since you left. He always was
there, trying to protect me like you asked." She knew she was
evading the question slightly. "I just....I don't know. It's
not like he's..." She stopped herself. Its not like he's
you. The kiss last night had brought the emotions flooding
back.

Her eyes never left his as he spoke. "I know, I could see when
I told you." She looked down briefly. Telling him had hurt
her as well, knowing that Soarin had been keeping it a secret.
