He sighed and took off his hat. He shook his hair lightly, and
gave her the hat. He walked to an open space. He sat down and
began to shake slightly. He was suddenly covered in blue flames.
He was showing his anger. His hurt. A few minutes passed, and
there was a bright flash of blue light. Then, everything was
normal. He stood up, walking to the railing, and out to the
ocean below.

She took the hat as he handed it to her and she clutched it
close. Watching him let his anger, his hurt show, she could
feel it pull at her. She knew how strong his emotions were.
She wanted to go to his side, to sit with him, but she waited
and watched. When he stood and walked to the ocean below she
quickly followed him, her wings beating softly behind her as she
followed him. "Ryou."

Ryou stopped when he reached the shoreline. He turned around and
looked at Akira.
"Yes?" He asked, an eyebrow raised.

She looked down softly, still wringing the hat in her hands.
"I..." What could she say. She was sorry. She didn't want him
to hurt. What had happened last night, had felt right. She
missed him. Everything swirled around in her mind as she sat
down along the shore.

She sighed and rested her head on her knees. "I won't say it
again." She mumbled softly, no matter how many times she was
saying it in her head. She held out the hat again. "At least
if you're going to stay out in the cold, keep the hat. You
don't have to wear it, but it makes me feel better."

carefully. He took her hands in his and looked into her eyes.

She felt his hands around hers, and she squeezed them on
instinct. Her gaze settled on his eyes, a familiar look in her
eyes, as her heart skipped a beat.

tied. She let her head fall softly against his shoulder on
instinct.
