She smiled lightly as he hugged her back. She sighed lightly,
leaning against him. Her eyes fluttered lightly, growing a bit
heavy. She felt safe with her brother.

Akira stumbled into her room wincing again. Quickly looking
around the room she needed to find the right box. Taking a
cloth bandage she quickly wrapped it around her side holding the
pressure against the wound. More worried about helping Ryou,
she didn't take the time to clean it or anything. At least that
was she didn't have to hold it. She found her box of medical
supplies and grabbed it quickly sifting through the box making
sure it was all there. A few moments later she ran back out of
the room, seeing the hint of red start to seep through the
bandages.

Akira walked back into her room, pale and feeling sick. The
knot in her stomach wasn't letting up, she knew it wouldn't.
Not for a while anyways. She threw the bag of food she had
originally gone out for in the kitchen, not caring that it's
contents rolled out onto the floor. She hadn't bought anything
too pershable, so it could be dealt with later. She walked to
the bed and collapesed into it. She laid back and stared up at
the ceiling, letting the guilt weigh her down. Sleep would not
come as she stared at the dark ceiling.

Ryou laid next to her, kissing her cheek. He would be there.

Akira smiled liightly as Ryou kissed her cheek. She rested her
head against him, as she closed her eyes for a moment before she
looked up at the ceiling again.

She sighed lightly, "I'm trying." She closed her eyes and
leaned into him. After a while the dark void of sleep finally
swallowed the angel, and her breathing became rythmic.

Akira walked back into her room after showing Ascher around.
She was still in a bit of shock that Damion had actually brought
her back. She could smell dinner cooking in her room and she
smiled lightly. "It smells really tasty Ryou."
