A Joyful Return (9/19 The Anchor, morning, raining, open)
By: Ascher Date: October 18, 2012, 9:34 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
The door to the restaurant opened with a soft jingle, a black
umbrella was shook sending water droplets outside before the
figure entered. A tall lithe man entered the room, long shaggy
black hair fell down to his shoulders in some places while
others locks of hair barely strayed past his nose and ears. The
40 year old male had a tired yet happy grin on his face while he
found himself a comfy seat in the back. Evan Hallenwell was
quite happy to be back in town, he couldn't remember the last
time he took a visit home but he was fairly sure it wasn't too
far back, he'd tried calling his daughters cell to let her know
he was home but it went to voicemail so he figured he'd find her
       on his own later.
He poured over the menu, trying to decide which meal he should
order in bulk, shaggy hair falling across his face as he looked.
His thoughts drifted to his daughter, it'd been some time since
they last met, but he knew without a doubt that his 14 year old
would be excited to see him and that not much had changed.
Perhaps the two could go out and spend some time together and
visit his wife's grave before he had to leave out again.

Ryou walked into the shop, his tail obviously showing. He was
seated, and he was looking at the menu. There was two at the
table. It was obvious he was waiting for someone.

Evan looked up from his menu, his eyes caught sight of the boys
tail, excited he shot up out of his chair and shuffled over to
the boys table and took a seat in the empty chair. "Hi, sorry to
budge in, but I saw your tail. So you're a demon right? How
wonderful!" he said jubilantly. He took notice of the school
uniform and a very familiar frown settled on his face "Ah you go
to the exorcist school, me and my late wife attended there for a
year before we left it. A couple of peace, our hope was to
coexist with demons." he picked up a menu and signaled a
       waitress over.
He shook his head and the frown fled to be replaced by a grin "I
believe one day the human race will thin out and die away,
replaced by half-breeds. Better to make a smooth transition now
       than fight all the time."

Ryou eyed the man carefully, as he didn't know what to expect.
After he was done, he sighed softly.
"I am the grandson of satan. I think we need to coexist, but
that is not going to happen."

"Nonsense it will happen, I am researching ways. I travel a lot
in hopes of finding a=places where they do coexist. I know it
won't happen in my life time but I will keep working towards
that goal til I die." with a slight nod. "Oh dear, my manners.
I'm Evan Hallenwell, I would ask if you knew my daughter but she
       doesn't attend the Exorcist school."

He raised an eyebrow, a questioning look in his eye at the blush
and the fact he knew his daughter. "Yes, that would be my
daughters name. Though the question is why do you know it?"

He blinked and looked at the ground.
"Hm...I guess there's no point in lying now.. I know your
       daughter."

"How strange...I never thought my little Azura would befriend an
exorcist, rarely violent she's such a sweet girl. How did you
       two meet?" he asked.

       Ryou looked at the ground.
"Um... Well.." He said, raising an eyebrow. Wait. He didn't know
that she had become an exorcist?
"Wait.. How old is Azura?" He said, sending a text to her.
