kissed it. Sighing she looked at him softly,

She smiled softly, "Oh you know the usual. Mostly me being
under close watch should something come in and sneak me away or
corrupt me. At leats thats what mom tried to do. She got a
little more....panicky after you left. I ended up spending even
more time with the animals...because they were all mom let me
see." She shook her head lightly. Anyone who didnt know her
mother had to think she was joking....unfortunately she was not.

He smiled and gave her hand a squeeze.
"I told him to watch you!" He said, cursing Soarin under his
breath.
"I'm gonna go ahead and guess that Soarin didn't do a good job
of protecting you?" He asked, beginning to play in her hair.

A light laugh and shake of her head let her hair fall over her
shoulder. "Its not that he didnt protect me. He tried, but
mother went on a rampage. Like she thought my shadow was going
to jump up and steal me away." She sighed softly.
[color=lightpink][i]"You know how she can get. It was easier to
just listen. She'd let me spend some time with Soarin...but
then back to house arrest."

you understood her logic i believe we would need to have you
institutionalized. Her logic has never made sense. The only
time I didnt question it was when she was seemingly unwary of

"And that's the part I don't get. She was weary of everyone, but
not the demon spawn. I'm glad your logic isn't messed up like
hers.... at least not all of the time." He teased, sticking his

It was easy to fall back into comfortable teasing with Ryou.
She poked his ribs lightly and stuck her tongue out back.

dating the demon spawn? Unheard of!!" He said, imitating his
Grandfather's voice as it was once he found out.
