Where Dreams will Die and Ruin Begins (night, closed)

"I believe the time has come. To bring about the destruction of
this world and all that inhabit it..." The sky above the church
began to darken and a black dome grew from the skeletal hand of
the Grim. He held up his hand and the dome started to cover the
entire yard and church. The air within the dome became heavy and
tainted with the darkness concentrated in it, the plants around
the area began to wither and die. The Grim smiled from beneath
his hood, the dome and several others in key areas would began
to grow as they ate away at the world and soon they dome itself
would cover the entire globe, killing away all life forms. Then
the Grim would begin again to create a more perfect world. "Now
my children will you come to stop me or will you bow down and
accept the inevitable defeat?" the black wings opened and
twitched as he watched his work continue.

A wolf covered in blue flames stood on the ground inside of the
dome. He let out a soft growl.

He looked at the wolf and bowed. "Welcome young demon. Have you
come to fight me alone?" he asked and a small smirk graced his
lips. "Quite foolish of you, you must have a death wish."

The wolf slowly formed into a boy. Blonde haired, and big blue
eyes pierced the demon. "You wanted a fight? Well, your going to
get one." Ryou said, his flames getting hotter and glowing
brighter.

The Grim held out his hand "Then please give me a good show. I
get terribly bored as I wait for my fragments to eat away the
world." he twitched his black wings and flew into the air.

"Two can play this game." The half breed said, jumping in the
air to level himself with Grim, he drew his sword and let out a
flurry of slashes.

In the blink of an eye the black wings crossed in front of the
Grims body, the bones hardening like steel easily blocked the
others attacks.

The wings opened up, flickering back to there normal position.
"Believe child. You do not have any hope of defeating me." he
reached out and touched the half breeds flames. "So very hot,
what if I turned them against you, would you burn away to ash?
Or perhaps I will let the heat build up slowly and let it roast
you until you beg for death."
