He nodded and closed his eyes "When the Grim appeared it was
only thought to be another pesky demon causing trouble. One with
considerable strength since it managed to kill every exorcist
that was sent after it. It wasn't until one manged to get away,
I happened to come across the young woman and she described a
terrible being which stole away the power of the others she had
been traveling with. A being of pure darkness who spoke of
recreating the world again, she that terrifying darkness was no
demon and that it was something else entirely. " he said and
sighed softly. "The young woman died shortly after that, With
growing concern I made plans to travel to the area she and her
companions encountered the Grim, that was where I met Garcia, we
were both amazed and frightened the entire area felt tainted and
dark, as though no life could exist with in it. We agreed that
no ordinary demon could produce such a feat, not even the king
of demons could leave such a taint on the land itself! We met
Nightshade and Gala, two siblings with great power but both are
rash and quick to jump into things without thinking, we made a
decent team. Garcia and I with our age and wisdom and Nightshade
and Gala with there strength and youth. We were no match for the
Grim, we had nearly lost the battle against it but Gala and
Nightshade refused to give up, pooling there energies together
we somehow constructed a barrier trapping the Grim within it
Garcia and I began to channel our own energy, focusing theirs to
one desire. We stripped the Grims soul from it's body and sealed
it away in the realms between, it took most of our strength,
energy that we would never recover but with what little we had
left we sealed away the Grims body in the stone you took and we
bound our souls to that cave as guardians to protect it." he
opened his eyes and smiled sadly.
"It took the power of four exorcist to take down the Grim, and
the power of three to bring it back. The body of an exorcist to
house its soul, an angel to enter our dwelling with the strength
needed to retrieve the stone and the blood of a demon to invoke
the ritual to return its body. Three beings that we felt would
never work together to bring calamity to the world, but times
change and things happen." he said, sighing softly.

Akira sighed lightly and rubbed her head. Taking in the full
weight of the story, what had been sacrificed to seal the Grim
the first time, what she had helped to break. They had bound
themselves there to help protect him from coming back. Biting
her lip lightly she looked at Oak. "So it should be possible to
at least seal it between the realms again. It would probably
take a lot out of those that fought it like before." she spoke
allowed helping to solidify thoughts in her mind. "Do you think
its possible to stop it once and for all? I'm sorry for my part
in breaking down what you worked so hard to prevent. I wish to
do whatever it takes to make it right."

Oak nodded "I believe it's possible. I also believe things were
meant to go this way, you all will be the ones to find a way to
stop the Grim for good." he said with a small smile. "In my day
the Exorcist was the bridge between humans, demons and angels.
The power to tame demons and use the power of angels while being
the protectors of humanity, now the word has become a mere
title. It took four Exorcist to stop the Grim, perhaps we were
wrong to do it that way and that is what gave way for its
return, the balance and power to seal it away in the world the
bridges between three realms." he said, chuckling softly as he
set his stone down. "Yes I believe fate is working itself
accordingly. My book shall open with the blood of an Exorcist,
within it is the ritual we used. But I do not think that ritual
will be of use now, but it doesn't hurt to take a peek and see."
he said and vanished.

Akira smiled lightly as Oak spoke. Giving her glimmers of hope
she nodded and bowed in gratitute. "Thank you Oak, we will do
our best. We will not let the Grim succeed." She looked at
Ryoji, "Alright we should take a look at that ritual."

three realms.... "ryoji out up 3 fingers" earth....heaven....and
hell. so does that mean it takes a human, angel, and demon
"ryoji thought to himself. once oak disappeared ryoji looked at
akira to answer her" i guess we should....would you like me to
do the honors? "ryoji axe appeared in his hands"

Akira sighed lightly, "If you want, I could always do it too.
I'm the one that helped the thing get its body back." She ran
her fingers over the book on the table, still chewing on Oaks
words.

nah, you've done enough lately......and i mean that in a good
way " even after everything that ryojis been through, it wasn't
in him to hold such grudges. especially when there was a chance
for amnesty and to set things right. ryoji ran his finger across
the blade. cutting it open" is this enough blood? or do i need
to open a real wound?

Akira smiled lightly as he opened his finger. Giving him a
grateful look for his words she shook her head. "that should be
enough Im sure. Just enough to release the seal on the book"
She slid the book to him.

Ascher stepped out from the door and watched it seal shut behind
her. She sighed softly and brushed her bangs back "Perhaps I
should have listened to Damion and rested a bit more." she
mumbled, feeling slightly dizzy as she went in search of Ryoji
and Akira.
