Solitary studying [library]

Akira wandered into the libaray her bag in hand, wearing ratty
jeans and a sweatshirt. She had a dazed look in her eyes, those
usually bright blues were dull, still clouded with fatigue and
guilt. She just wanted to be alone for a while. She walked to
the back of the library, Aiden following her quietly. Grabbing
a few books as she walked past, she pulled another familiar book
out of her bag as she sat in a chair, that was almost totally
obscured from sight. She sighed lightly trying to figure out
where to start as she rubbed her head. Aiden jumped softly onto
her lap and curled up trying to comfort her.

"leo walked into the library, carrying a bunch of books up to
the librarians desk" sorry it took so long, i was looking up
some.....intersting facts and lost track of time "the librarian
smiled and waved leo off. leo smiled and bowed. getting ready to
leave he noticed akira in the back of the library" akira? "he
made his way to her" hello sister

Akira jumped at her brothers voice. Turning those dull eyes to
him she sighed lightly, "Oh hello leo." She sat up slightly
shifting Aiden, who tilted his head. The little fox flicked his
tail lightly, but stayed pretty much attached to the angel.

Akira curled into herself slightly, feeling the guilt pulling
her down again. Shivering slightly she bit her lip, her brother
was worried, she could tell. It didn't make sense to keep what
she had done a secret, but putting it to words was hard. She
stared at her hands, "I...I did someting horrible."

Almost like when they were children she hid from the world in
her brother's protection. "That...that stone we obtained. I
went to go free Ascher with it. It worked...but it gave the
Grim back his original body. I was foolish to trust that I was
doing the right thing, that there were no ulterior motives. I
may have doomed the whole world...."

understand why you are so upset. but your intentions were good,
even though this has happened. you should not sulk in the
past....when you must prepare for the future. " leo walked to
the seat across from her and sat down" be happy, your friend is
free, this grim will just be another task that must be
completed. think about it. the guardians would not have given us
the stone to undo what they fought so valiantly to put together
"leo tapped a random book she had grabbed" also we have the book
that was given to us "leo smiled, trying to cheer her up"

Tears welled up in the corner of her eyes. The guilt didn't
lessen, but there was at least a glimmer of hope that she could
grab onto. She looked up at Leo as he smiled. "I guess you're
right. They likely knew what the stone did, and gave it too us
anyways. Oak said the book would open when the time was right.
We have to be able to figure out how to stop him..." She gave a
hint of a smile.
