"Well of course you wouldn't have helped. I did tell the truth,
it does banish evil...more specifically the Grim and returns his
body but I didn't think that detail was very important. You were
very helpful in accomplishing this, I honestly don't think
anyone else would have gotten the job done." he said and closed
his eyes.
Groaning softly in pain Ascher let her hand fall to her side as
she blacked out. That should be enough to start me off. I must
depart now to further regain my strength." he said and let the
girl slip out of his hands. "If you happen to see that young
half demon you can inform him that I have acquired all of my
pieces. Soon our game will come to an end." a low, dark chuckle
left him as he faded from the room.

Akira glared at Damion, feeling sick to her stomach about what
she had done. "You used me to return the grim to his body."
She growled. As the grim let Ascher slip Akira dashed forward
to catch her before she hit the ground taking the impact
herself. Tear of anger in her eyes she glared at the Grim as he
left. She had released a horror into the world, and now was to
give a message to Ryou. She sat there sore, her wing twisted
from the impact, and keeping Ascher from hitting the ground, to
sick to move.

Damion smiled and shuffled over to them "Well that was quite the
excitement." he said and knelt down beside the two. "I believe
Ascher gave me something for this kind of situation. This was
before she gained her memory mind you." he rambled as he dug
through his pockets and pulled out a white necklace. "Here it
is!" he slipped the necklace over Akira, grinning as it began to
glow with the healing energy inside. "Now lay Princess down so I
can see how much damage she's sustained."

Akira resisted the urge to rip the necklace off her neck, just
because he had placed it there. However she let the pendant do
it's job. Carefully she shifted and laid Ascher down on the
floor, careful of the area where the wings had come from. She
knew that was likely to be the most physical damage. Carefully
she went about inspecting her as well.

"Hmm well blood loss is sure to be our first problem." he said
and checked her pulse. "Faint but still there, her body is warm
so I think she's now running a fever. Now concerning what the
Grim did I am uncertain on if he took away all of her spiritual
energy, if so I don't know if it'll come back or be gone
forever...of if she'll wake up at all I mean a coma seems pretty
logical at this point." he said and picked her up. "So shall we
take our sleeping beauty back to the school, no point being here
and you have a message to give to little Ryou."

Akira looked down over Ascher. All she wanted was her to be
okay and safe. Now she didn't know if she would even wake up
again. They had gotten the grim from her but.... She sighed
keeping her eyes low, feeling the guilt pull her down she nodded
weakly. "Might as well get her back." she said quietly.

"Aww don't be sad kiddo. I'm sure she'll be just fine." he said
and cut open a door. "Just think of the wonderful day we've just
had together. She'll wake up and we can all laugh about this
over a yummy slice of cheesecake." he added and walked through
the door.

Akira choked back some choice words for Damion before following
him through the door. "Oh yes I can't wait for the day." She
grumbled, the knot in her stomach growing.

Damion set her down making sure to keep one hand at her waist to
keep her steady. "What exactly do you hope to find?" he asked,
looking around all he could see were the symbols he'd drawn and
feel the darkness tainting the area. "Explain to me what ritual
you used here...we might need Ryou here to help as well." she
said and began to make her way around the room. "Yes we might in
fact need him, can you go get him?" she asked.
Damion grinned "Kidnapping is one of my many qualities." he said
before vanishing.

Ascher pressed her hand against the wall "Even without my powers
I can still feel the darkness, it's all over this room." she
muttered and felt a dull ache in the area where the Grims wings
had sprouted.
A door opened in the corner of the room and Damion stepped out
with Ryou, smiling he set him down "We're back Ascher!" he said.
