Once the stone was touched it broke apart and stabbed into her
hand, causing her to wince slightly. She ignored it as the
darkness grew so strong that it was visible within the room. "I
thought I would never get my body back but it seems fortune has
graced me wonderfully! she said, falling to her knees a pair of
black skeletal wings sprouted from her back.

The darkness in the room becoming almost sufficoating to the
angel. Hearing the voice and seeing the wings the Angel
screamed, "Ascher!" Her body shook, what had she done?

Damion crossed his arms, a small grin on his face "Not to worry
it shouldn't be too bad." he said, watching the scene.
A black light, followed by a blast filled the room throwing the
two back against the wall.

Akira glared at Damion as he spoke, anger clear in her eyes.
"Not too bad?" She growled before she was smashed into the wall.
Feeling one wing fold up under her as she crashed into the
stone she cried out. Her head hitting the wall as she looked on
at the scene through dizzied vision.

The light died down, Ascher was curled up on the ground
unconscious, wings gone as a pool of blood began to form beneath
her. "Magnificent, my original body has been returned to me" a
dark voice said from above them. The tattered robe covered the
skeletal form of the Grim, it's wings stretched out to there
full length as he looked at down at the three from underneath
his hood "And it is all thanks to you two!" he chuckled, his
hand curled and soon Azura was floated up to him, a pale hand
encircled her neck.

Akira pulled herself to her feet shaking and cringing. This
wasn't what she wanted, she just wanted Ascher free. She
clenched her fists glaring at the grim, her eyes going wide as
Ascher floated up to him. "Leave her alone!" She stood glaring
at the grim and damion. "This wasn't what I thought was going
to happen! Don't hurt her!"

The grim chuckled "Oh do not worry little one. I shall not kill
her now, she has served me well and as reward for returning my
body I shall let her live." he said as he tightened his grip
around her throat and began to glow. "I will simply take what is
left of her spiritual energy for myself." as he stole her energy
her eyes snapped open as she screamed in pain and tried to pull
away.
"Look at it this way Angel we managed to get rid of the Grim
that was plaguing her." Damion said, chuckling softly.

Akira cringed as Ascher screamed, "DON'T HURT HER!" She spun to
damion, anger swirling in her eyes. Angry with him, feeling
foolish that she had trusted him, and Ascher was still in pain.
She seethed at him and had her hand at his throat, her other
twitching for her quiver. "You! You knew this was going to
happen. What could you possibly have to gain from this!" She
pushed him back against the wall her blue eyes almost dancing
with fire, before she spun back around to the Grim and Ascher.
Quickly trying to figure out how to get her away.

Damion rubbed his now sore throat "Well nothing, I just felt
this would be a pretty amusing outcome." he said and dusted off
his clothes. "Imagine such a power being brought back into our
world, and we were the only ones able to do it!" he said. "I
wouldn't try to do anything, it'd probably end with instant
death." he added.

Akira tensed and watched the grim, anger and self loathing never
fading from her eyes, almost palpable around the angel. Shaking
violently she growled at Damion. "Just to bring him into the
world because we could. I never would have helped if I had
known this was the outcome. You needed an angel...." She
trailed off never taking her eyes from ascher.
