Lost and wandering [open, Aiden]

Aiden padded up the mountain trail. He hadn't seen Akira in a
while, so he had gone out looking for her. His tail flicked
lightly as he sniffed at the air. Somehow he had gotten himself
turned around and was now lost and trying to find his way back.

Calis was lounging up in one of the trees, his tail lazily
swinging as he carefully set the leaves close by on fire. His
fire fur was a light red.

Aiden caught the whif of the burning leaves and spun around to
face it looking up into the trees with a tilt of his head and a
yip.

His ears twitched at the sound, sniffing the air he caught an
unpleasant scent and growled "Wonderful another animal." he
said. He shook out his fur letting it return to black as he
stood up and glared down at the fox.

Aiden heard the growl and stepped back a few steps. His tail
bristled as he sat and looked up at Calis

He jumped down, landing in a crouch at the base of the tree he
sniffed the air again. "Hello little fox, I recognize your
scent. It was all over my mistress." he said and bared his
fangs. "I am not overly fond of other...creatures putting their
scent on her. You and the other annoying animal that belongs to
that half breed have both done this." he said.

The little fox stepped back a few steps as Calis bared his
fangs. He looked down lightly, before looking up at the larger
animal. "I didn't mean it. I was just saying hi." he said in
yips.

"Hmph it doesn't change the fact that your disgusting smell was
on her. I had to burn it away and replace it with mine." he
said, tail flicking as it began to burn a bright red. "Then
again perhaps I could get rid of the source, how about that
defenseless little fox?" stalking forward as his tail began to
burn brighter.

Aiden growled at him as he approached him. He crouched down his
tail swatting about angrily. Clearly he was outsized, but the
little fox wouldn't be totally defenseless. "I won't go seeking
her."

Calis rolled his eyes "Of course you wouldn't, she's a bit
preoccupied. But if she caught sight of you she wouldn't resist
picking you up. My mistress has an annoying fondness for cute
creatures."
