He tilted his chair back "I hadn't thought of that, yes I would
assume so. She had been complaining her power wasn't where she
wanted it to be. But it doesn't take too much power for world
destruction. None of it adds up, I feel like I'm missing
something..."

The angel rested her head on her folded hands propped up by her
elbows. "It does seem like there is something missing. Its
like there is a key piece of the equation that just isn't
clear." She sighed thinking.

He poked Aiden "Despite looking quite dashing in that hat I wish
you were of use." he said and got up "Well I believe I'll go
around collecting books, I shall leave you here to ponder."

She sighed as he got up to find books. Akira looked at Aiden,
"My it would be useful if we could use you to figure out what's
missing." She scratched his ears lightly, as she thought about
what piece of the puzzle could be missing. Looking around the
library she grabbed a book.

Damion ran a finger along the books, waiting for one to grab his
attention as he thought Some type of clue, key piece that will
make it all make sense...then again if I did find out not like
I'd do much with it he thought, frowning. "I wonder if a
cheesecake made of clouds would taste good?" he mumbled aloud.
The book she grabbed was dark red, silver etching out the title
on the front. Saint Hope Myths, Legends and World Origins.

Akira tilted her head lightly as she read the title. "Saint
hope myths?" She wasn't too familiar with this, but she trusted
fate. If she had grabbed this book, then maybe there was a
reason. Something that could help her figure out what they were
missing. Settling back down in the chair, while Aiden ate his
biscuit she opened the book and began to read.

Our world is built upon good and evil, a struggle between the
two to see who will dominate. That same struggle resides in the
hearts of all living things, whether they know it or not.
The book was divided into 3 parts. Myths that told of fears,
superstitions and unknown creatures that plagued the town.
Legends, the stories of bravery, cowardice, fortune and
misfortune retold for generations. World Origins, how the world
in its beginning stages and its journey to becoming the one of
today.

Akira read the opening of the book. She nodded softly, she
could understand the meaning of that. No one was all good or
all evil, there being a struggle in everyone. She'd seen a bit
of that in her own heart before. The book had the angel
captivated. It looked like it might be able to tell her
something. She decided to flip to the world origins part, its
seemed fitting to read. She would read the myths and legands
next.

There was a time in our world where there were
no such things as Angels, Demons and Exorcist. There were only
humans who coexisted peacefully with one another. Living quietly
together with the land and animals. The struggle within living
creatures did not exist. A being of infinite power happened
across this wonderfully peaceful world and decided to leave it a
gift, that gift was the ability for power. Individuals took
notice of the difference between themselves and others, those
known as demons became corrupted and heartless. They wished for
power and destruction, chaos and bloodshed, some wished for
absolute peace and conformity, a strict set of rules and
guidelines to make everyone a better person, they were Angels.
Both fought against the other in the hopes of taking control of
the world, there were many who were left without power, humans,
who stood no chance against either faction. Then arose the ones
who were neither demonic in heart, our purely good. Humans who
came across power, struggling between the ropes of good and
evil, who wanted nothing more than to protect the weak.
Exorcist, exceptional individuals with the skills to harness the
power of Angelic verses, tame demons and protect the world. The
being that granted them powers watched, and watched the battles
that were waged until too much blood had been shed. It desired a
world where they could once again coexist, it eliminated all of
them, wiped them out of existence until the world was once again
a blank slate. It left the world to rewrite itself, returning
when once again it crossed passed with the new generation of
peace. Giving them powers he watched the cycle begin only
instead of both Angels and Demons being stopped by Exorcist it
was the Angels being hunted down, seeing this plan fail it once
again rewrote the world, cleansing it for its next rebirth. This
new world the Angels were sacred while Demons were hunted down
by Exorcist, it watched as Angels banished the demons into there
own realm, and Angels too left the world for its new residence,
both had doorways that could be opened back onto this world. The
being did not like this new world, preparing to erase the beings
it was stopped by a group of powerful exorcist. The being was
forced into the realm between life and death, trapped for all
eternity by the Exorcist.
The world continued to flourish to the world it is now, Exorcist
protect our world from evil while Angels and Demons continue to
stay stationed in there own realms. The struggle between good
and evil continues.

As Akira read the chapter on the worlds origins totally
captivated by what was written. Power given, struggles, and the
world at war before being erased and cleansed and the cycle
repeating. An origin story that made sense. A being caught
between life and death, that wanted to cleanse the world to
start anew. That part of the tale struck a chord. "Ascher....I
wonder."
