"Of course your delightful company. I know my life wouldn't be
the same without my bestest friend." Pulling her knees up and
wrapping her arms around them she calmed Aiden back down. Akira
nodded softly taking in what Damion said, while looking at what
he was reading. "A warning hmmm...well if and when I need to go
down that road I will. I can't imagine her letting feelings get
in the way of her desires now. You could always not take
orders, not that most of your plans weren't a headache, but
still." Akira shrugged lightly, honestly curious taking in
anything she could.

"Oh yes wonderful idea, refuse to take orders from a clearly
unstable girl who wouldn't hesitate to kill me in a heartbeat.
Yeah no best friend, nope I will meekly take my orders and do
them. Somethings just off, from the darkness she's got around
her to this whole world cleansing scheme. I haven't seen the
girl sleep once at base, she's always off muttering to herself
or just doing something." he said and poked Aiden.

Akira sighed and rubbed her temple lightly. "I guess that makes
sense, basically asking for death doesn't really do much. The
darkness around her worries me. I mean I can understand being
angry after what happened. I wouldn't have been surprised if
she'd just wanted to kill a few of us, but clense the whole
world.....and you say she's not sleeping." The angel frowned
lightly. As he was poked Aiden made a soft squeak and looked
up at Damion, then to Akira, and back to Damion. Tilting his
head lightly he softly headbutted Damion's hand.

He quickly picked up the fox and set his book down "Hello you
sly creature of the forest. I am Damion, a sly creature of the
demon world and you and I shall be best friends who enjoy
cheesecake!" he said happily. "Nope haven't seen her sleep once
so far, it doesn't seem to be affecting her mood or her health,
visibility wise."

Akira sighed lightly watching where the book was put down, "Yeah
that doesn't seem right. There are a few things that seem off
then huh." The wheels in her mind turning, trying to think of
ways to figure out what was going on, Well other than keeping up
with Damion, while she watched Aiden and Damion.
Aiden tilted his head lightly at Damion as he spoke to him.
Almost seeming to understand Aiden yipped lightly and put his
paw lightly on Damion's nose. His tail flicked back and forth
lightly.

"Ha that is the universal sign of acceptance. Sorry Angel but
this fix has replaced you in the best friend ladder." he said
with a grin and petted the fox. "Yep pretty off, the whole world
is pretty off, And I still have a few more places to hit up and
kill off, I'm no where near done with this crystal and she wants
it asap." he said with a sigh.

Akira pouted lightly, "Oh no! I'm second now. We'll its hard
to win in an adorable contest with Aiden there." She laughed
lightly, before a hit of worry took over her eyes again. "You
have more places to hit up and kill. She's pushing for that to
be done quick? Didn't the first take you quite a while? I
don't want to think about how you're going to get that done fast
enough." She shook her head wondering what Ascher was planning.
Aiden purred softly as he was pet, and wriggled about lightly.
With a light gleam in his eyes he licked Damion's nose.

He wrinkled his nose "No dear fox, I don't think licking my nose
is cute, keep that up and you'll end up being second and Angel
will take your spot." he warned. He glanced over to her "Yeah
took me years to collect enough dark energies, though that's
because I enjoyed corrupting my subjects, but since I'm in a
pinch I've resorted to cheating slightly and finding those with
already corrupted souls and just stealing it from them and
killing them. That and planting my bugs in a few dozens of
people, again another order from Princess which I'm not to clear
on."

Aiden's eyes grew a little wide and he looked guilty, his tail
flicking back and forth sadly. Almost as if he'd understood all
of Damion's words. He whinned softly.
Akira looked at him with a light frown. "I guess that makes
sense, taking it from those already corrupted makes it easier I
guess. Though so much less fun for you. Did she have specific
people you had to plant you bugs in....or just random people?"
She asked curiously.

"That's right feel bad for your crime against my nose, but you
are forgiven small one." he said, patting Aiden on the head. "No
specifics, just plant the bugs in them and that's it. So I've
stuck to just random men and women and gave her a bug so she
could control them how she saw fit." he answered, shrugging
slightly.
