Waiting to be Reunited (night, rain, open)

Ascher shivered, arms crossed across her chest as she managed to
stumble upon the cave she had been seeking. Her hair darkened to
near black due to the rain, clothes soaked as she pulled her wet
hair back into a ponytail. She looked around the dark cave, a
feeling of swept through her made her shiver as she made her way
in. If what Tsumomo showed me was true then there should be a
headstone here, and an empty grave...that'll confirm that
everything about my life is a lie.".
"Do I want that, do I truly want to find out if everything I
know is a lie?" she questioned softly, before she could retreat
from the cave she caught sight of, what appeared to be, a
sleeping figure. Her breath caught at the matching dark blue
locks that hung down obscuring the others face. She took in the
boys uniform the other wore and the fact she sat atop a
headstone and below it an upturned grave.

"So you have returned. To the place we died and were brought
back." Azura said, a small smile curling up as she lifted her
head up. Her teal colored eyes took in the other girl, noting
the differences in them; the purple eyes looking at her teal
ones in shock, the midnight hair that was pulled into a ponytail
while hers hung down and lastly the girls uniform which made her
frown. "Dreadful, glad I died in the boys uniform." she said,
her bare feet lowered to hang in the air above the empty grave,
arms uncurled to reveal the bloody hole in her chest from when
she was killed.
She looked at the girl and smiled darkly "Tell me, are you happy
to see us, we are the true prince after all. I never expected to
see you at all, what with Calis trying to push it back, but I
knew the inevitable could not be stopped. You care here for the
truth, but to have it you must make a choice." she stated.

She stumbled back, "It's t-true then...you are...we are. H-how
are you, we, how are we dead and alive? What choice, I just
wanted answers bb-but this is too much. I'm alive and I'm dead
and this all of this is a lie?!" she said, voice quick and
panicky. She looked at the girl, "If we are the same why are our
eyes different colors?" she asked.

She smiled at the response. "We have been waiting paitently for
the time when the choice must be made." her head tilted as the
smile darkened. "We are dead and alive, I died, we died, all of
us. You, me and the souls trapped in the cyrstal. But we were
trapped, we had absorbed too many souls for us to pass on safely
we did not fully move on and die. Master...Damion father. Our
soul was split when he dragged you to life, dragged a piece of
us back into that lifeless corpse we had just left and then I
simply "woke" up here and knew I was both alive and dead, and
the souls I retained were wraped too much in me to leave us. We
have simply been waiting for the inevitable reunion of our souls
being dragged back..." she explained, standing she walked in the
air above the grave. "So many forgotten memories, too many
faces who knew us closely, hurt us, betrayed us, killed us and
dragged us back to life. You must choose."
"Will you take back our memories, will you make us whole once
again Ascher, I do not know what I desire but we will know with
life. Or shall you choose to keep this life, if so I shall erase
every memory of our past, this new life will forever be yoursand
I shall...I do not know what shall become of us. One choice can
be made..." she said stopping a few feet away from her as she
watched her back away. "Tell me will we live or shall you live?"

Ascher turned away, hand combing fretfully through her bangs "I
can't...if I do then I..I'll loose the life I believed in." she
turned back around and looked at Azura. "If I don't then I will
keep my life and will never know our truth , I won't even know
there was a truth to begin with!" her gaze fell to the ground.
"Father, Maria, Elena...all of that and they knew. All of the
others knew the truth and teased me with scraps and pieces of a
forgotten life." she took a half step forward but backed away
again, unsure.

She smiled, unconcerned with the girls plight. "One choice. What
is it you desire, to forget the past and walk blindly down the
path made or do you wish to grasp our fragments and press them
back together?" she asked softly and heled out her hand, fingers
curled slightly. "I shall make one dream come true. We shall
make that desire real."

She looked at the hand, frown marring her face as she looked at
her own hand that matched the translucent one in front of her.
"One desire...my desire. What do I want?" she asked herself and
closed her eyes. She knew she hated this uncertain feeling, the
secrets being hidden from her. She bit her lip, knowing if she
chose to forget she wouldn't have to worry about those feelings,
but if she chose that she'd never know the truth while those
around her did.
Her eyes opened, and she looked into her counterparts teal eyes
"I know what it is I desire." she said and held out her hand.

She let her hand hover above the girls "Tell me, say it. What do
you want, what shall we make come true. The path forgotten or
the path concealed in vines?" she asked, teal eyes glowing as
she awaited the answer. "There will be only one desire, one
choice. Makei t wisely."

She nodded "I want to remember. I want my, our, memories back. I
do not wish to forget everything again." she said, voice falling
to a whisper at the end.

Azura through her head back and laughed, a grin forming as she
placed a hand over her wound and watched as her twin unknowingly
mirror the movement. "Then I will grant that wish. I will return
us to one being, one memory." she said and stepped closer. A
dark aura comin forth as her body became more solid the closer
she got to her living body. A hand yanked the girls head back by
her ponytail "Our wish, our desire I shall fulfill it." black
flames sorrounded her nails as she plunged her hand into the sun
burst mark on her chest, ignoring the girls scream she giggled
"What will our thoughts be once we are alive and one. The
pendelum stops as the inevitable choice is made, our wait is
over. How much is to be had now!" she felt the girl go limp in
her arms and let her fall to the ground. "A bit of pain to be
dealt with but no matter, all is well." she watched the wound
she made begin to close up and heal, she felt her own ghostly
body begin to fade now that she was able to return to her living
one.
