The Best of Times (Akira's dorm, night)

Damion happily pounded on the door, for once opting to knock
instead of his normal barging in without warning. He was dressed
in a tuxedo print pajama set, carried a sleek black cane and had
a miniature top hat sitting askew atop his head.

Akira's room was filled with the smell of cheeseckae. She had
spent the better portion of the day making it. Surprised at the
knock she went to answer it. She was dressed in a light yellow
pj set and her hair was fully down. She opened the door to see
damion, and swung the door open to let him in.

He strolled in "Evening peasant!" he said happily and set his
cane against the wall before taking a seat in an open chair.

"Peasant?" She asked with a roll of her eyes as she watched him
walk in. "That sure is a nice way to address the one that made
you cheesecake." She closed the door and headed to the kitchen
bringing out the creation and setting it on a table before
taking a seat on her bed.

"Well dress like that in the presence of me, a well dressed
chap, and I call it how I see it." he said, cutting himself a
slice he grabbed a fork and took a bite. "Ahh a peasant with a
talent." he said and leaned back in his seat. "So update me,
what has been happening for the last two weeks?"

She laughed lightly at his comment about her manner of dress.
"Im sorry, next time i'll break out the tiara." She watched him
take a slice, and smiled when he liked it. She took pride in
her baking, even when it was for him. "That last two weeks?
Well they've been much quieter here than they were before. Ryou
spends lots of time here. I try to sleep sometimes." She
shrugged. It really had been fairly uneventful. Other than
trying to get her feet back under her, and lessen the guilt he
had left her with it had been rather quiet.

He nodded "Well that sounds pretty darn boring. Jeez at least
with me around you had more interesting things to say." he said
and looked at his nails. "I on the other hand had a very
eventful two weeks."

Akira sighed and sank back into her pillows and ran her hand
through her hair. "Well at least you're taking care of Ascher."
She shook her head lightly at the last comment. "Of course
your thinking of what mischief can come out of this." She ate a
piece of the cheesecake.
