Akira sighed and rolled her eyes. "I hold by my thoughts on
fairness. I care because she was a friend, or at least I had
wanted to be friends. I may have shot that ability in the foot
several times. I didn't intend to hurt her when I came here.
So I care if she is dead or her mind is shattered." She mumbled
as they continued their way out of the market. "I didn't want
to cause the rift between her and Ryou."

"Oh honestly, fine if you truly believe in your noble little
quest to make sure your supposed friend is okay then that's your
choice. I already know the little subconscious you is rejoicing
in either scenario and quite happy the competition is out of the
way for good." he shrugged and shoved his hands into his pocket.
"No one forced you to cause this rift, you had plenty of chances
to simply refuse him and back away, even without my fun
influence instead you both continued off to play a dangerous
game of kissy face which hurt your dear friend and left her wide
open for me...so I guess I should be thankful?"

His words stopped her steps cold. He was right, she knew he
was. She should have stopped him, she should have said no. She
should have left. Her hands shook as her gaze never left the
ground. "Fine you're right. I'm a horrible person, I should
have done many things differently. I am more than at fault for
this, and I should do something to atone for that, for helping
push her to your infulence. I would prefer to see her okay
though." She sighed and looked up. "Would you prefer I just
tell you where he would be, instead of me taking you there?" she
       asked quietly.

A soft chuckle left him at her admission "See it's much better
when we tell the truth. Nah I want you to take me, we can check
on this mystery together, sides nothing puts icing on the cake
like having a somewhat depressed companion." he said happily and
linked his arm with hers. "Lead the way my sweet."

A deep sigh left the angel as she stared at the ground. She
couldn't even come up with a comeback this time. Letting him
link their arms she led the way to the cave where she had found
       Ryoji before.
