Looking for something good. [open, afternoon]

Akira sighed as she wandered through the market. She was
bundled up against the weather, covered in a hat, jacket, and
scarf. Howerever the flash of pink hair that poked out was
unmistakable as always. Her head hurt slightly, the last few
days had taken more out of her than she wanted to admit. She
knew her injuries were still healing as well. She figured a
night with some comfort food might do her some good. She walked
through the different shops looking for something that called to
her to eat. Filling her basket slowly, she rubbed her eyes
lightly.

An arm wrapped around her waist, a black painted fingernail
rested under the girls chin and tilted her head back to see the
face of a smirking Damion. "Well don't you look lovely all
covered up Angel." he said to her and smoothly kept them
walking.

Almost jumping as the arm wrapped around her waist those blue
eyes found Damion. As they continued walking a light sigh
escaped her, "There was no intent for the layers other than not
being cold. What are you doing here?" She asked shortly.

He chuckled "Ah you know me, always wandering about doing many
good deeds. Save a kid here, heal a poor doggy there...blow up
something!" he said, as he finished a nearby stand blew up. The
explosion was small, but enough to cause a bit of panic. "The
normal. Moving on, I seem to have misplaced my property. Have
you seen Princess, she hasn't returned to me and I do worry when
my pets wander too far off there leashes."

She rolled her eyes at the first comments, but she jumped into
him slightly as the explosion went off. "Such a good way to
make the world a better place, could you blow up things that I
don't typically shop for though." She sighed, but she turned a
confused look up to him at his question. His discription sent a
shiver down her spine. "Your pet? No I haven't seen Ascher,
I'm surprised that you can't find her. You always seem to be so
good at that."

He nodded thoughtfully, stopping them to look at a few apples
"True I always seem to know where my dear pet is...but currently
I can't seem to place her. Nor does summoning her through the
crystal work, it's as though she is simply gone and I for one do
not like having my toys run out on me." he picked up an apple
and started eating it.

She gave him a look as he picked up his apple of choice. His
inability to find Ascher worried her though. Damion never
seemed at odds trying to find someone, and if he couldn't summon
her. "Maybe she figured out how to get rid of your wonderful
little crystal and got away?" At least that's what Akira was
hoping for.

He ignored the look, grabbing another apple he made them start
walking "Don't worry I won't be paying for this." he said, a
distracted frown on his face as he considered her words.
"Perhaps...I did feel as though something was amiss, like a
connection was forcibly broken but she couldn't have found a way
to get rid of my crystal. I haven't even found a way to do it."

Akira's expression grew more worried as he spoke. "You say she
couldn't have found a way to remove the crystal. Would there be
a way to break it and have her be okay? Or is there another way
the connection could have been broken?" Her voice fell quieter
as her mind spun.

"Well if she broke it she'd live...but I doubt she'd function
properly after absorbing so much darkness and negative auras
she'd have a pretty fractured sanity to deal with. So yeah it
can be broken and she'd live...the only other way to break it is
death." he said, the frown deepening as he spoke. "Yeah death
would end the crystals control, with death I lose any chance of
reclaiming all the negative auras I stole...damn that'd be
terrible to lose all that hard earned work."
