Red eyes narrowed at the girls tone, sword still drawn she was
about to step forward and just kill the girl but a hand on her
shoulder stopped her. "Elena we are finished here." Maria said,
cutting open a door she dragged the girl through it. "Have fun
with your dead friend, we probably won't see each other anymore
now that we've killed that annoying traitor." smirking she door
closed behind the two girls.

Akira gave a very angry distintive gesture as the two women
left. Spinning quickly and finally letting more than just anger
show on her face she ran, well tired to run, back over Ryou's
body. "Ryou." she bit a trembling lip trying hold back.

Ryou opened his eyes, shifting slightly. He moved the blade from
his chest, and winced at the pain.

A gasp of relief escaped Akira's lips. "Thank God." She
crumpled softly next to him, holding her side with one hand and
inspecting Ryou's wounds with the other. Being very careful not
to exasurbate the injury, she just wanted to know how bad it
was.

He looked at the sky, and sighed softly. "I can't do it. She's
still there... But it's like... She doesn't want to come
back..."

Akira looked at Ryou with a light sigh. "She didn't kill you.
That has to say something. Maybe she can't come back yet. You
can't give up, we won't let him keep her. We will find a way.
Unless she looks you in the eyes, under no control of his at all
and says I choose not to come back, you can't give up hope. We
will just have to figure out another way." She sat back softly,
watching Ryou and the others.

She watched Ryou with sad eyes. She knew they needed to get
Ascher back, he needed Ascher back. She would find a way to
make sure it would happen, it didn't matter what it would take.
Sighing she let go of her side and ran her fingers through her
hair before putting on a comforting smile. "We'll make it
alright Ryou."

"For now we need to get back to the school, you both are
injured." Cain said, pulling arrows out his wings. "Ryou you'll
need to lay low for now, at the very least Ascher bought us a
reprieve and we can start researching a way to diffuse the
crystal."
