Pondering in Silence (Library, night, open)

Ascher sat in the very back of the library, curled up behind a
few dusty shelves with a book in her lap and a black scarf
around her neck. Her hair was pulled back in her usual ponytail,
but now looking somewhat like an agitated cats tail. Her eyes
had dark shadows under them from her lack of sleep. Her stomach
growled but she ignored it, as she'd been doing for the last few
days, in favor of reading.

A sweet scent began to drift in, a soft hum could be heard a few
shelves down. Mari ran her fingers over the dusty spines of each
book she passed, red flower tucked behind her ear giving off the
sweet smell.

She lifted her head up, were it not for the odd smell she
would've ignored the humming and stayed in her spot. Instead she
shut the book and stood up, placing a hand over her nose to
block out the smell. She looked around and quickly made her way
towards another set of shelves.

The humming stopped, "Now my dear little girl don't shy away
now. I detest fighting and I'd hate it if I had to fight now."
she said, her hands reached back and drew out a black wooden
arrow, smiling she ran her fingers along the wood and soon
bright green vines grew along the shaft.

Ascher kept silent, she pulled her black scarf up over her face
and tightened it. Her hands brushed against her guns as she
quietly tried to walk through the library while locating Maria.

"Are you hiding little girl, a game of hide and seek it is!" she
said teasingly. "I bet your weak, you don't have the power to
face me. I can see why your little boyfriend strayed away and
used you as a cheap knock off." she said and drew the bow back.

She stilled, her words striking a cord within her. Her hands
clenched and she gritted her teeth in anger. Ascher shut her
eyes and pressed against a shelf, taking deep calming breaths.

A crashing can be heard, and Ryou was at the center, growling
ferociously. He was slowly losing himself.

Mari lowered her bow when she heard the crash and soon felt a
dangerous prescence "Damn it, looks lik Damions gone and done
something." she muttered, putting her arrow away she cut her
fingers across the air and a door opened behind her. "Our dance
is cut short today, but I'll be back." the door shut behind her
as she departed.

Ascher pulled her scarf down off her face, once Maria left she
turned in the direction of the crashing and took off towards it.
