She frowned "What do you mean, it's not like I had any other
choices lined up. The only males I've hung around are Ryoji and
he's pretty much my older brother, that Sakurai guy who has
plenty of issues and now Cain but he's like a little brother."
she said and ran a hand through her hair.
"I'm not sure why I chose you, or at least I'm not sure if I
can put it into words that make sense. You just wouldn't give
up, kept pestering and pestering for information about me and
the only other person who knows me and my past intimately is
Ryo. I don't know perhaps I started liking you after I kicked
your butt the first time on the beach." she said with a soft
sigh. "I just chose you cause I like you, I like being with you,
teasing you, threatening you, saving you, being teased by you
and stopping you from nearly getting yourself killed. I like you
cause I do."

He smiled and ran a hand through her hair. He immediately bright
