Kira smiled softly as Kuro nuzzled her head and as he explained
the breakfast. "That sounds tasty. I wish my breakfast had
been that amazing." Her face fell slightly as Kuro spoke of
Ryou being down. She sighed. "I don't like it when he's
feeling down either little one. I've never liked it when he was
hurting. I doubt me showing up at this school made things any
easier for him." She said quietly.

Kuro poked his head from hers, looking at her.

Akira sighed sighed softly looking in Kuro's eyes. "I used to
be his girlfriend, but we broke up when he left to come here. I
never expected to be able to leave and be able to come here, so
I didn't know if I'd ever even see him again." She nibbled her
lip softly. "While he was gone he asked Soarin to watch me,
make sure I was protected. Soarin ended up developing feelings
for me, and asked me out. Now Soarin and I are dating, but
Ryou...." She rubbed her eyes lightly. "Everything got more
complicated when mom finally caved to let me try to do something
away from home."

Kuro licked her nose lightly.
"So that's why Ryou's been so sad. He's been distant." He said,
his kitty eyes staring into hers.

She smiled lightly, a hint of sadness behind her own eyes. "I
know. I didn't want to bring things back up for him if he had
moved on. I mean I always missed him, but I really hate to see
him sad or hurting." She looked down. "Although I would have
expected Soarin to tell him before I showed up. I didn't want
to be the one to tell him."
