Sunsets and Notes (10/24, night, snowing, open)

Ascher was perched comfortably on a ledge, her feet bare as they
swung with the gentle wind not minding the snow tickling her
feet or the cold. She wore a black wool jacket over her uniform
and a pair of black jeans. She hummed softly, a gentle smile on
her face as she looked out at the horizon, her long hair was
completely down and fluttering with the wind.
I've been believing in something so distant. As if I was human.
And I've been denying this feeling of hopelessness. In me, in
me" she sang softly, letting the wind carry her voice as she
switched between humming and singing.

Ryou heard the voice, and decided to follow it. He saw Ascher on
the ledge and sat next to her, listening.

She tilted her head to look at him, a questioning look in her
eyes but she shrugged and went back to looking out at the land."
All the promises I made. Just to let you down. You believed in
me, but I'm broken. I have nothing left. And all I feel is this
cruel wanting" she continued, picking up some snow and letting
it fall over the edge.

She frowned slightly. "As far as I know nothings wrong. Just
thinking about things I suppose." she said and kept letting snow
fall out her hands.

She pulled her feet up and slipped on her shoes. "I hate the
cold, it's weird but I can tolerate it if I'm up in high
places." she offhandedly muttered, and tied the laces. "I'm
wondering if I should forgive my father or not, he's still
lurking around, not willing to leave until I forgive him." she
said. "I'm still uncomfortable about the feelings I have for you
since they clash with my goal of killing all demons...and I'm
wondering if I should even bother continuing to be here at the
school."

He sighed, looking away for a second.
"So you're thinking of leaving? And.... your still not sure of
your feelings... Well, if not me, there's always Cherry.." He
said, looking away slightly.
