I could spend hours making this list. The world of illustration
is complicated and, as in other professions, women are not on
equal terms with their colleagues. Apim conducted a survey in
the sector and the data says that women bill less than men.
There is still a way to go. When did you decide that you would
dedicate yourself to being an illustrator? Was it your dream
profession as a child? When i was little i wanted to be many
things when i grew up, each one more strange. Michael jackson,
light suit model, coroner., but i always remember myself
drawing.
I graduated in fine arts and then studied illustration at
artediez. what i Phone Number List

really liked, it is a school with great
teachers. «according to a survey by the professional association
of illustrators of madrid, women earn less than men» trumpet
drawing martha rivas do you remember what your first “serious”
assignment was as a professional? Often the first jobs that
arrive are from someone close. In my case it was an illustrated
poster for an eco cooperative, that was a few years ago. Now i
only see flaws, hahaha. Do you think that in our country the
work of designers and illustrators is valued enough No.

It is a pending task, it happens with all professions related to
culture. It is a real problem that is reflected in the
illustrator's daily life. From the open assemblies that have
been held at artediez, and now from the apim, they are trying to
work on it. I think it is necessary to be stronger as a
collective if we want to generate changes in this sense. Is it a
utopia to try to make a living from your art today? I don't know
if it is utopian but it is certainly complicated. You have to
work hard every day and even then that doesn't assure you
anything. I see it as a long-distance race, although i may be
wrong.
