Payment Surcharges Change to Law 13th Jan 2018

If you process card payments on or offline and especially if you
use Paypal ... you'd best be aware that the law has changes and
you are no longer allowed to apply any surcharges for different
       payment methods.
So if you are paying 4% for Paypal thieves you may want to turn
this off, or increase your prices overall.
We have not ever surcharged but certainly would have done so if
there was an easy way ... (which I have just realised there was
on SagePay but that is now no longer allowed as explained!)
I have always resented Paypal's pretty public face whilst it
charged extortionate fees to merchants ... meaning we all should
have been charging more for it's use. And Paypal pay no interest
to anyone with money in their account/balance and then use
their.your money to offer loans etc. ... hate them!!
I will be turning Paypal off.
The info you need to read (so you don't get charged anywhere
yourselves (excludes business to business where they can now
only charge what it cost them - so ask to see their rates)):
