Borderlands servers might be closing..

Saw on Playstationtrophies.org but don't know how true it is.
Hope it's not true soloing Borderlands is lonely.

It's one of the many games affected by the gamespy server
closures on may 31st but I haven't seen a 100% confirmation on
it yet, just "possible" closure. There is only 1 trophy that
would become impossible to get as the rest can be done in
splitscreen, so if you already have the "And They'll Tell Two
Friends" trophy you're good, but yes there will be a lot more
lonely vault hunters :-\

It looks like Borderlands is on the 'safe' list, actually. (List

The developers have alternate plans after GameSpy goes down for
the following titles:
Borderlands
Unreal Tournament 3
Grand Theft Auto IV
Red Dead Redemption
Midnight Club Los Angeles
Crysis 2

That's a relief. Sadly it won't let me open the link for some
reason O.O
Guess I can do what I can on Borderlands and shelf it for later
when I get stuck. I'm getting kinda peeved at the game atm.

Sorry that I broke the link, I just moved it to the end of the
sentence.
There are a ton of games still in danger after GameSpy dies, but
luckily--except for Bulletstorm--I wasn't planning on playing
any.

Borderlands 2 is something else right? I got 2 free from plus
and haven't really played it much yet.

Yup, Borderlands 2 has no known upcoming issues as far as I
know. And considering that it's still widely played and raking
in money...they'll be keeping it safe for awhile is my guess.

Borderlands 2 is pretty grindy and long, so it might be worth
looking at the challenges and roadmap so you can plan ahead.

Oh I already started it. Just trying to finish 1 first. Just got
my butt handed to be by a Badass Fire Alpha Skag though. So
until someone's online I prob will play something else. I guess
I'm geared incorrectly or something. ;n;
