       Basic Trauma Intervention

It seems that more and more shooters are taking medical courses,
which I believe is a very positive thing.
If you are a member of Massachusetts GOAL (Gun Owners Action
League), which all gun owners should, they are having two Basic
Trauma Intervention classes. One was in Oct. and the second is
in November. Sad to say, both are sold out. I will be attending
the November class and will post back my impressions.
I'm under the belief that seeing that these two classes sold out
so quickly, there will be more after the first of the year.
Please join and monitor GOAL at
  HTML http://goal.org/index.html
       for
       further classes.
FYI I have no affiliation with GOAL other than I'm a member.
       Course details:
       11/6/18 sold out
       10/4/18 sold out
       Basic Trauma Intervention

BTI (basic trauma interventions) is designed for the none
medically trained individual to gain the skills to potentially
save a life using Tourniquets and Hemostatic agents. In this day
an age with acts of violence, industrial accidents and the
abundance of motor vehicles, it is plausible that you will be
involved or be a witness to a trauma with severe hemorrhaging.
Thom Kane has taken skills from being a Nurse, EMT and his
training as a Officer Down Rescue Instructor, Tactical Emergency
Casualty Care Instructor and combined them into a civilian based
       course.
