Salaam to all my sisters

Salaam all,
So this is my first post here, but it's a long road - and never
knew this community even existed until maybe six months ago. So,
here goes. I'm a transwoman in my 30s. I fully transitioned in
my early 20s. I've always been fascinated by Islamic culture,
both middle eastern and south-east Asian, and took my shahaddah
back when I was 16, and lived in Malaysia for around 5 years.
But, I felt that when I transitioned no-one of faith would
accept me - and trying to come out to the muslim friends I had
didn't go well, so I neglected my faith.
I do feel a bit weird sharing this, as for me it's not really a
fetish. I'm not a very sexual person, and though not strictly so
I'd say I'm borderline romantic asexual - I'm all for
relationships, and am very much an aesthete, but not very
sexual. But that said, though it's probably out of reach for a
white trans convert, I would love to have a "semi traditional"
relationship based on islamic mores.
