So fat, I have only ever used Amazon. But there have to be
better outlets.
Now, I live in a part of London that (in normal times) has shops
which sell all sorts of beautiful islamic dress. I live in a
muslim area. But I don't know how I would be received if I tried
to buy in person. I am on the side of caution with this one.

clothes from a shop in Birmingham called Muslim
boutiques..
HTML https://www.muslimboutiques.com/
.. especially
Jilbabs... but they do have a limited choice.. & not always got
a lot of choice size wise...
HTML https://eastessence.com/
looks
good, but ive yet to order from them... but i was having a
browse this morning & i do like a few things... & they do have a
good range size wise... i think i'll give them a try... x

Those links look great, sister.
In more normal times, did you visit the Small Heath shop in
person? And will you again?

Salaam Aisha.... No ive never visited it... only shopped online
there... but there are plenty of shops around Manchester where i
live which i should visit... its always better to shop
personally than online... im sure it wont be a problem... i used
to visit ladies shops all the time when i dressed as a western
woman... being Muslim now shouldnt make any difference... &
besides, i may make some Muslim friends through it.. but the way
things are at the moment with this virus i can see that
happening for a few months... so in the meantime its going to
have to be online only... ebay is also a good outlet for our
style of clothing...

I have mainly used Amazon or EBay in the past with the
occasional online purchase from an Islamic store. I would dearly
love to visit such a shop in person but at the moment, I lack
the confidence.

I too lack the confidence. Though I bought 'Western' female
clothes. From places such as Primark, TK Maxx etc. With some
trepidation, but still was able to. I just don't know how small
shops (which I assume Islamic dress shops are) would react. It's
all so unknown for me.
