Heres a quick vid of where I am in terms of casting at the
moment, I know I can improve A LOT! unfortunately I cant smash a
rod with all my power nowa days due to a shoulder injury from
years ago (bike accident)

You need to push the lead back by pushin your left arm out. The
wait untill the lead goes out from the tip. You will feel the
lead ligther and will can turn into the cast faster

Looks pretty good! Which shoulder is causing you problems left
or right?

I would maybe try a slightly longer drop too

Its my right shoulder stevie, i usually do have a longer drop
when using a stiffer rod, but this particular lt14 feels quite
soft in the tip and mid section so was trying a shorter drop as
for me (for some reason) i can get more compression in a softer
rod with a shorter drop :)

You should give back casting a try maybe using your left arm as
the main arm. Altho I guess it means learning a whole new
technique.

Yeah, I don't think I could learn to back cast very well, im
trying to pull more with the left than punch with the right
although its easier said than done for me lol
