       Jerry Valentine 2018

       It was with a great deal of pleasure that I attended this even
       as I had promised Jerry that I would cast with him in the USA ,
       sadly he was called back to heaven too soon so attending a
       memorial event was the only alternative.
       I must say that the event was loads of fun and well organised by
       our Texan friends though the weather also reminded us what Texas
       is famous for  - heat  :shock:
       Attendance was good and it was great catching up with old
       friends and just as important making new ones .

       Conditions were difficult and as a result distances weren't what
       we had hoped for but as luck would have it the wind turned up on
       the very last round and Will Nash took full advantage to smash
       out a beautiful 830' one to take the event title , you can see
       the winning cast in the attached video  :D

       Great people and fantastic memories with both old and new
