       Daiwa Rods for Tourney Casting

       How come Daiwa haven't produced a rod recently for distance
       casting? Maybe they have but I haven't heard of anyone using
       one.
       Given how popular casting is in Japan I am surprised they
       haven't made a rod up to the job. Possibly they lost interest
       after Paul Kerry
       stopped casting, but the original WKT Whisker Kevlar Tournament
       was a decent rod!!

       You are probably right Stevie they have lost interest since Paul
       left and are working on other products though their top range
       beach rods are capable of casting a long way but they were
       designed by Paul quite a few years back.

       Remember casting the 14.2 tournament x When it came out, felt a
       nice rod.
