       Bill,I’ve tried normal pendulum with a high swing and low,also
       the backcast with mixed results,I like the fact that you can see
       the lead on the swing,OTG is also good to practice as it is easy
       to involve the left arm more so and forget the right arm.
       I’ve looked at the Argentinians,Italians, and other Europeans
       styles, but the most unusual set up would be some of the
       Japanese styles,those helicopter start ups are something else.

       It's admirable of you to come here and explain how you went thru
       the different styles before you came to this particular style of
       cast.I'd say just be comfortable with what you're doing whether
       its low or high swing or whatever cast just follow your
       preferred cast.Do what you're most comfortable with and just
       enjoy with your friends this wonderful sport of pendulum
       casting.

       interesting to see others casting like this, i have started to
       promote very similar styles of casting to this as oppossed to
       the high swing, find it a much more natural and flowing
