Italicanna rods

Hey guys,
I recently got my hands on an Italicanna A4 rod. I've thrown it
a few times. I want to know how many have thrown it and what
your opinion of the rod and distance potential. I'll share my
results later in the thread.

I ve had the A4 . found it too stiff for my liking. didn't got
on with it.
Got a B4 as well. it has loads of power in the butt!! think i ll
need to put on another 20kg to be able to maximise its
potential.

Interesting. What are you first impressions with it Tommy? How
does it compare with your 'go to' rod TT-R etc?

My first impression was, "what a beast"... lol
The rod is very powerful, stiffer than my TTR's or any Zziplex
I've owned (427SU, Zeteque, TRC etc). I have probably taken 10
casts or so with it. The thing that struck me was the distance.
Even though I was not used to the feel or the stiffness it
provided numbers that were equal to my TTR and TRC. When I get
back from this 10 day fishing trip I plan to spend more time
with it and see if I can get on with the power.

I really like my Vector B4 it has as much power as my T1000 but
much less weight. Recently I got to try Lee Adams prototype of
the Vector LA which has similar power to the B4 but is much more
alive in the tip section.
