Zziplex

After messing around with other long rods, I got a few Zziplex
blanks and taped on Minima 4 guides. Waiting for the Spring
thaw to test them out.

Kwang ( www.surfcastproshop.com ) suggested what I ordered from
him - Zziplex M4 Hi-Flex Match 13'4" + reducer. I'll match this
with the Zzeta 5500 reel that's loaded with Sakuma .28mm for
125gram lead. This kit is just for grass casting, to work on my
technique and hope for improvements for getting out lots past
150 yards or so. The other Zziplex is a Bass CT 11'8" to be
paired with the Tourno 555, mostly for plugging for stripers and
blues in the surf.

Here's that Zziplex M4 HFM rod in action, paired with a Daiwa
7HTMag, with Kwang fishing (and losing!) a big drum in the surf
at Assateague Island beach, Maryland, USA ... his main line to
shock leader knot let go! Oh the agony!!!
