Had this rod a little over a week now and at first was really
struggling with it, my standard m427 casts great, loads fairly
quick into the butt and when I time a cast good I can feel it
bend and send a lead a good distance, with the hi flex ive been
struggling to get past the middle section with my usual fishing
pendulum cast, i even thought i had made a big mistake buying it
as the action is nothing like the standard version.
That was until this morning :) went down the local front and
tried a much longer drop, more rotation and decided for the
first time in my life to add a step in my cast, first try with
this new (to me) style and she absolutely flew! every cast after
that really did fly (for me anyway lol)
Is it just me or does anyone else that has cast this rod find it
needs one HELL of a wind up to get into the butt?
My standard version casts great with my usual cast and loads
much quicker than the hi flex, now i think ive sussed the rod i
absolutely LOVE it :)
If you have cast one what do you think of it? and is the m427 su
really much pokier? does it load into the butt quick and are the
tips similar?
Thanks
Luke
