I'm Prussian IRL and I am a huge history fan. Also I want a
European Group with German roots, finally I'm an anti-pirate and
your non raiding policy I really like.

Great answers as those are some of the very same reasons I
joined this fine alliance!
I'm first generation Canadian - my family all lives in Austria
and Bohemia regions of Czech republic and I always enjoy meeting
people from a similar area.

Don't worry about being new, I joined this alliance like a day
after joining P&W. Our current Verschaffer (person who deal with
applicants) stepped down so the chain of command is a little
muddled at the moment.
