Maiga Desperate To Move To Newcastle

Modibo Maiga is still demanding a move to Newcastle.
His current club Sochaux yesterday reported Newcastle to FIFA
for tapping Maiga up.
Maiga told the Daily Star,
"I think there is a
little bit of brinkmanship
going on, which is
understandable. If clubs
are resigned to losing a
player, they want the best
possible price.
"So, when a transfer gets
close, suddenly other
clubs and the media get
to know about it and all
sorts of accusations fly
around."

Now I'm confused, this is from the Sky sports news website and I
quote

"But when you cut through everything, I want two positions
filled before the end of the window and I think we will do
that."
One says Maiga said it one says Pardew says it maybe it is all
journalists causing problems because last time I looked I
couldn't really mix the 2 of them up.

Sureley if he is desperate to join us he should pay up the
reminder of his contract join the TOON and his signing on fee
would then cover what he had to pay to get out of his contract,
just a thought

dont know much about him, but shows he is keen to play for us
and is what we need players that will give 100% for the toon
