Who is using what?

I'm still using Photoshop CS3 with NIK ColorEfex and SilverEfex
plugins, Portrait Pro 9 and Nikon NX (though not for a long
while).
Still not convinced by HDR yet, most pics are over processed
with it and don't look natural.
Oh and what is with the sepia discoloured portraits that have
been sharpened to within an inch of their lives?
Every spot, bristle and lump in full view with a slightly sickly
cast to it!
Maybe Shaun can answer that seeing he is in the business. :)

I'm still on Mac (can't go back!) with LR & PS CC, just like
they way it all works together and the catalogue suits how I
work and organise things.
I can auto upload to Flickr with tags and that is auto organised
from how I've set up the LR export, so you can tell, i like auto

I bought a new monitor a while back, an iiyama with built in
calibration.
It reacts as the light changes in the room.
Got it up on one of those swivelling arms.
New Tower hooked up to a Pioneer amplifier and speakers so got
some sounds going while surfing. :D

Sounds cool Stewart! I got some new speakers not that long ago
and have a new little office setup. iMac and ps, lightroom and
sometimes plugins, niksoft, or google i guess it is now.
I think due to the variety in jobs, i.e. Weddings to event
togging the workflow has been quite mixed.
Macphuns Luminar looks like it might be worth a play though,
think it's only Mac however.

Still at working at a college/university so am Lucky that we
have a site licence for Abobe CC so am using Photoshop. Prefer
the CS versions if truth be told though.
Tried Lightroom, but I can't get my head around it. Maybe do an
evening course at work if they run one this year.
