       I'm in for the night.
Been an ok week, hubby is out of town til Wednesday, and
tomorrow I'm going to be spending time with a couple of cousins.
Then Sunday I might go out to my Moms for a bit.

We are in this Friday night. I made BLT's for dinner and we are
relaxing in front of TV, DH in front of his, me in front of
mine, lol! We have vastly different tastes in viewing. In a few
minutes I'll finish the dishes and set the coffeemaker up for
tomorrow morning when we have to go out early to drop my car at
the glazier for a new windshield. It was a quiet but fairly
productive week. Yesterday, a new cousin arrived in my family -
my youngest paternal cousin welcome his first grandchild - a
beautiful girl. He has 2 daughters and 4 sisters so he's very
used to being up to his elbows in women, lol! I was the first
cousin to become a grandparent, and his 2nd oldest sister
welcomed a grandson 2 years ago. My youngest aunt, age 81 and
going strong, and Mom to 6, now has 2 great-grandchildren. I am
close to this branch of the family (this is my Dad's youngest
brother's family. Sadly, Dad & all his brothers have passed).
Tomorrow evening is our church choir's annual "year end" dinner
party (we don't sing or rehearse during the summer, except for
us cantors, who sing at every Mass all year round). It will be
a nice buffet at a nearby elegant Italian restaurant and as
always, it will be fun. We'll probably sit with the choir
director and her husband who have become good friends, which
means DH will sit across from our pastor and our retired nun who
still runs the catechism classes, etc. As he is not Catholic and
doesn't attend our church, this is always amusing, as he gets
along wonderfully with them! I have been thinking about DS this
week - he has a potential new "lady friend" he met recently
coming to visit from across the country where she's from. She
has been living in his area for several years but went home to
help take care of a parent recovering from surgery. Now, she's
planning to move back and is looking for find a job there with
her company - she works as a manager for a large, well known
national home improvement store. DS met her a few months ago
quite by accident, after he & his soon to be ex-wife legally
separated. We have been encouraging him to take it slow as we
think he married his ex too quickly (there were reasons at the
time, and that may or may not have contributed to the ending of
their 8 year marriage). But DS is 32, and very smart about
people in general but, and he agrees, not quite so intuitive
when it comes to women. His new friend came in last night and
from what he has told me about her so far, they have many common
interests, likes, backgrounds, etc. He sent me a photo and she
is truly stunning. Right now, I'm just hoping they have a nice
visit, and he doesn't get too involved too soon. BTW, she is
also divorced, no kids. Sigh. I guess I'm just never going to
stop being the Mom, lol! I don't interfere in his life, but I
       sure do worry, and pray.

The week ended cooler and better than it started. Dd's silks
class and their demonstration this evening for family and
friends and they were awesome! They all are so much better than
they were even just weeks ago and dd even reached a new
milestone. The rest of the evening is being spent quietly at
       home with Netflix.
