I like it a lot so far. We've made chicken burgers, homemade
chicken tenders, fries, chimichangas and marinated lemon pepper
chicken. All but the fries came out really good and the fries
were just from human error. The clean up has been easy and so
has using it. I have a feeling it will get a good amount of
use. I like that you can easily cook servings for just one or
two people without a huge mess.
That does sound like fun. Our last day of school is Wednes
too. We had a bunch of bad weather days that added onto the
end. Will you have an end of year celebration? Good luck
staying cool for the next few days. It's supposed to be cool
and rainy all day tomorrow and I'm actually looking forward to
it. lol

I will definitely be keeping my fingers crossed. Bed rest does
not sound like fun and I would imagine you are bored silly by
now.
How was the Kindergarten Graduation? I think I like that they
did the celebration this week and his last day isn't until next
week. I don't think we're having an official graduation. I
think I'm good with that. I didn't feel like crying in public.
lol I hope you have time before Nicholas starts with his
puppy love. I am totally not ready for this. lol
You have a wonderful day/weekend too. This June has been
gorgeous so far. I'm hoping the rest of the summer stays as
nice. We paid for it in triplicate this past winter.
Anything going on for weekend?

We always celebrate good grades with celebration slurpees and
the first and last days of school with supper out at a
restaurant of the kids' choice. Usually they get a ride home too
but the boy that dd likes is done gr 6 and will be going to a
different school next year, so they decided to come home on the
bus (they want the candy the bus driver gives out too LOL).

Its the classic tale, right? All I ever want is to spend a day
hiding in my room to watch TV and read, but now that it's my
full job I am losing it! haha. Luckily my MIL came in yesterday,
we were able to push out vacation plans till after the 10th, and
it's been beautiful so I am soaking in the sun and watching the
kids play in the back.. worst things in life for sure! Hardest
part is reminding myself I can't jump up every time the kids
aren't listening or might hurt themselves! Mom instinct is hard
to fight lol!
Oh it was so sweet! Everyone cried, the teachers were a mess.
They sang songs and I sobbed lol. Who knew parenting came with
so much crying! haha! Seems that I'm avoiding it for now - did
you get any update on if there was a second girlfriend lingering
about?
I'm loving it for sure - I can't remember the last time June was
this nice out! For the last few years we've had rainy and cold
months of June, fingers crossed it sticks! We definitely earned
it after this past winter - and I think you guys got hit worse
than us.
No big plans for the weekend.. we have a long weekend here so
Jay is home on Monday and I have a lot of sitting on my agenda
for the foreseeable future. We may go to my sisters tomorrow
afternoon.. depends if Jay lightens up on this bedrest thing and
"lets" me out of the house lol. I'm taking a "as long as I'm
sitting I'm fine" mentality, he seems to think I need to be
locked away in our bedroom haha! Have Nicholas' 6th birthday
next week which is insanity to me, so need to start working on
my delegating skills to get his party up and running :). How
about you? Doing anything exciting?
