We were actually out last night! It was my church choir's last
Mass - the choir doesn't sing or rehearse during the summer
except for us cantors- and afterwards, we had our annual "year
end" dinner at a local very nice Italian restaurant. It was a
buffet - eggplant rollatini, penne ala vodka, filet of sole
oreganata, veal piccata, chicken francese, baked pork, potato
croquettes, veg. medley, custard filled cake and strawberry ice
cream, soft drinks & coffee/tea. It was absolutely delish!
(We've been to this restaurant often; it's one of our go-to
places for special occasions). Most of the choir members and our
pastor attended and we had a nice time.
