I stay under my ceiling fans and the occasional a/c blow through
LOL.

We spend most of the time in the air conditioned finished
basement. There's a door and short staircase out to the back
yard so, for example this evening, I grilled chicken outside and
brought it into the basement, along with yams and salad I'd made
in the kitchen, and we ate there. There's a half bath, the
washer & dryer and a large flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo
system, and a day bed, mostly occupied by our 2 year old
Dalmatian, Sparky. The main floor of the house is not air
conditioned so if I'm in the living room, I'm sitting under the
ceiling fan. Upstairs, the 2 bedrooms are air conditioned. We
used to have a nice above ground pool - after 30 years, it
finally "went", 2 years ago, and we hope to have a new one in
soon.

I'm lucky to be home with my a/c and fans but our poor kids bake
every time they go to school in this heat.

It doesn't get unbearably hot here. Right now we have all the
doors open and fans blowing cooler air in from outside. Once
summer really hits we will be spending a lot of time at the
beach.

Hide in the a/c if I don't get to invite myself over to my
sisters house to use her pool! Bring the kids to the splash
pad..

the dogs out and getting G off the bus. I'll be doing the same
tomorrow. I'll be keeping cool in the AC for a lot of the
summer. We like to spend time at the cove near our house over
the summer or head to my SILs to go in their pool. [/font][quote

Wear cooler clothes. It really doesn't get unbearably hot where
I live. I can't imagine living somewhere that I need to stay in
AC all day.
