Doing ok! Still a bit tired from yesterday's road trip, but
overall in a good mood :)

At the moment, the mood is celebrating: it's our son's 32nd
birthday. Sadly, he & his family live 800 miles away, but we
sent him nice cards and a gift, and because he's not scheduled
to work today, he'll keep his little son and daughter home from
camp and celebrate with them. Meanwhile, later on, we'll
celebrate his birthday here with a backyard BBQ. DH is also
celebrating the success of our volunteer fire company's annual
circus fund-raiser, which DH pretty much ran by himself as
chairman, as he does every year. It was lots of fun & the FD
made lots of $$. He's home recuperating today after many weeks
of prepping, hanging posters and banners, signing up sponsors,
collecting advance ticket money, connecting with event sites,
and spending 2 days in the park, in and out of the tent, acting
as ringmaster and host, on 2 90 degree days. I'm a little
anxious as I put my 18 yr old Subaru in the shop but they
already called and it won't cost the massive arm & leg I feared.
We just need to keep my Subie going a few more months til we
can get me another one.
