We're still waiting on G's baby teeth to fall out. I think
I'll cry when the first one gets loose.

Dd (almost 12) had to have her's pulled. They were her last baby
teeth to go and she is getting braces starting this summer. She
is actually missing 1 of the adult canines but the other 3
should grow back without much trouble as her jaw stretches with
the braces.

I can imagine that after a while they need to be pulled or it
could cause some orthodontic issues.
