Ok, I’m pissed at dh

He seems to have a knack for dinging only new cars. He put a big
ding in the back of the minivan we bought years ago, and not so
much as a scratch since. Never fully repaired the vehicle but
replaced the taillight so it was street legal. So we recently
inherited money and both cars were over 10 years old. He
pestered me to hurry and replace my older but working car first,
but he really wanted a Tesla. Long story short, I suggested
leasing for now and wait for Tesla to be a bit more mature as
tech and as business. So he managed to scrape the entire right
side of the leased car, which has to be repaired completely. The
dealer estimate on that is around 3k.
THEN he says, “I KNEW I shouldn’t have leased the
car, but YOU told me to. “ What I told him to do was
compare terms and see what seemed better.

I'd be pissed too at what he said... smh. He's the one that
scraped it all up and he needs to accept the responsibility
instead of making it seem like you are somehow at fault!

Omg!! So not fair! He is the one who damaged the car! This in NO
way your fault! I'd be pissed off as well!
How careless can he get? He needs to take responsibility for
this!

Yikes, I'd be handing him a bar of soap to wash
that attitude off and the keys to a beater car. Good luck
getting it fixed. [quote author=fiddlerbird555
