Yes but because she's a summer baby we had to remind the ladies
from the church that were responsible for showers or I wouldn't
have gotten one. As it was it was just added on to the end of
the church picnic (at our place) but it was still nice.

Yes only a work shower. I didn't live near family.
It was nice. 3 of us were due around the same time. One was
out on bedrest so we went to her home and had one for her.
The other 2 of us had a shower during a long lunch at work. It
was very nice. I had my baby at the hospital right next to
where I worked so some came on their lunch the day after I had
my dd. That was nice.

Yes, it was an unexpected sweetness. You see we were new to the
area and church people came to visit us even though we weren't
active church goers.
We had no friends or family in the area and the ladies of the
church did a baby shower for me out of the goodness of their
hearts, it was very sweet but also very awkward as I knew no one
except the lady who had visited me a couple of times.
