I wanted more but the timing of the wedding was bad for them so
we kept it small and it ended up being perfect :)

We had 4 groomsman, 4 bridesmaids and 2 ushers. Way back 30
years ago when we married everyone always had even amounts.
My youngest had 7 bridesmaids, and 5 groomsman.
My oldest had 3 bridesmaids and 5 groomsman
Seems now it is the norm to not have the same amount and also
guys can be on the girls side and girls on the guys side even.
