I've just finished watching Elementary (available where I live)
til the end of Season 5, and now awaiting Season 6.
Are there any good series or movies that you recommend? I don't
really do any vampire/zombie, or any scary. And no supernatural,
either as it might give the ghosts in the house ideas. ;-)

I dont have Netflix, unfortunately.

Hi there Did you say you watched a show
about the Borgias? I started watching it on Netflix and
thought I remembered you mentioning recently. [quote

I liked Frontier, my kids and I liked the IT Crowd (its a
British comedy). We got into Anne with an E and its good.

I'm glad to know Elementary is on there. I
used to enjoy that show but could never keep track of it.
If you like historical fiction, Alias Grace was a really good
one. It's set in 1843 Canada. It's about a young Irish
immigrant that works as a houseworker and end up being put in a
criminal asylum. The story is told through a series on
interviews that she's doing with their version of a criminal
doctor from that time.
I just finished the second season of one called Thirteen
Reasons. It's excellent but deals with teen bullying, sexual
assault and teen suicide. It's a very well acted, well written
show but the subject matter and some scenes aren't light.
The Medici Masters of Florence and Borgia are also good. I'm
still watching Borgia.
